2012 Season Opener vs Florida

The first game of the 2012 is set for Saturday, September 1 at the Swamp in Gainesville, Florida…the home of the Florida Gators of the SEC.  As we prepare for the biting winds of winter around Ohio, just think that the average temperature for Gainesville on September 1 is 90° with a nighttime low of 70°…plus a little bit of humidity to make the day complete!

This will be the first meeting between the Gators and the Falcons with the common thread of Coach Urban Meyer.
If you are planning on making the trip, you can begin to shop for airlines flying to Gainesville (GNV) as we are now wthin the window of time to purchase airline tickets in advance.  When we get information with regard to team hotels for the 2012 season it will be posted so please keep checking this site.
